Dont Panic Roman. Get a tupperware container larger than your snake. Put breathing holes in it. Take a small hand towl or a few wash cloths and put in the container ,then put some water in it that is a comfortable room temp. Have the water about inch or so above the wash clothes so that they are soaked and some water is free standing. Then put your snake in the container for several hours.
He should be able to work his own way out of the left over shed , but if not after that time he will be hydrated enough that you could gently rub it off of him.

Just to add something, the humidity needs to be upped a little when they are shedding so that this doesn't happen.

just beacuse the shed was not good does not mean that the tempeture was too high. It just means that the humidity was not high enough, just make sure to keep him hydrated and they you can carfully peel off any pieces that come off easy.

My corn shed a few days ago.I didn't even see the signs, other than a loss of appetite.I got up and found the shed just laying on the bottom. He section complete.About an inch missing of the tail section.I thought,"DAMN,,I have to get that off so his tail section doesn't die".As I was looking him over,,I could NOT see anything stuck on him.The next day I did find the missing section in an other part of the tank.Thank god :)

Eh. The tip of Rose's tail got squished when she was small. (If anyone wants to know the story, tell me. ) I think it's dead now, but it hasnt fallen off. Anyway, it's stiff and doesn't move. So now, every time she sheds, I have to pull off the shed off the tip of her tail. :/
