Help - Might inherit an RTB

I may be adopting an RTB from someone who is moving out of state unexpectedly. I've kept BPs and corns for about 7 years now, and RTBs have been on my "I'd like one someday list" but I really haven't researched it because I didn't expect "someday" to turn into "this week" as quickly as it did.

So, please point me in the direction of the best crash course on RTB care. If it matters, it is a male columbian who is currently about 500g.

Thanks!

If you PM me your email address I'll send you a great pdf care guide. Or you can go to redtailboas.com and download it off of their main page. It's a great guide for RTBs. Have you been able to handle the boa? If it's been well cared for, I'd say go for it; they're awesome snakes.

PM sent. Thanks!

Yes, I've seen & handled the snake. He was a sweetie and appeared totally healthy.

Congrats on your possible "inheritance". That's actually exactly how I ended up with my red tail, Isis. And I love her so so so much. She's my favoritist snake so far. Joba is definitely the go-to person on here for boa advice and help.

And, I demand pictures if you get him.
