So while we're at it, one of these is partially broken, too. Does anyone know where to get more, and how to remove and replace them??

I agree, you should be able to find such things at lowes or home depot but if you file off the point i think your fix will be as good as anything.
As for the hinge it looks as though it is glued on. Applying steam to the "weld" might release it to be replaced.

They have 12x12 UTHs under them. I would DEFINITELY not recommend this manufacturer. Probably out of business. The first set I got were so crap they had to be sent back. It was a GIANT CF of my first experience at ordering reptile housing on-line. They look nice, but are very awkward to work with.

I've never had much luck removing the acrylic hinges. Sometimes it works, sometimes it cracks the plexi. 
The best way to remove would be a nice sharp chisel and pry it up very, very carefully.
I would then add a new acrylic hinge or just buy a metal one at home depot and drill some holes. Personally, I like the metal ones as I KNOW they aren't going to pop off if my big burm or some other large animal pushes against the plexi. The acrylic weld "should" be strong but if it wasn't done right it might not be. If you use a metal one you can use flush tops on the inside and then nuts on the outside and you won't have the issue of critters snagging themselves. If you want the outside nice and pretty you can get an acorn screw cap. If you do drill, do so VERY slow and with a sharp bit as plexi will crack if you go too fast. So many options, so many potential headaches.
