Help Quick Question

She could be signed in to one name with IE and the other with firefox or a refresher program, or any other browser. Becca appeared to place all the blame on lea. Maybe I'm wrong though... :shrugs:
I never tell my sister passwords of mine and i only go in chat rooms if i have a question.I go on theese So called fourms with information or it just can be fighting

My sister didn't go on last night. And Roy Munson stop being so mean! By the way i am qualified to give advise
~becca :angry01:
I was only in chat briefly last night, and I saw Lea signed in. I guess I'm a liar too.

And to paraphrase Yoda: "My own counsel I will keep as to who is qualified to give advice." You are NOT qualified. Who would listen to you anyway? You post like you are passing notes to your silly girlfriends in an English class that you are ignoring despite sorely needing. My prediction: you will never be taken seriously on this forum.

Why close the thread if there is valid discussion to pursue?

:-offtopic HOMGWTFBBQ! lea used a period! Only one... but it's a start.

If you guys are "moderators" why don't you close the thread?! Wouldn't you have done it by now?
~becca
There's only one real moderator on this site, and he hasn't participated in this thread. He also doesn't have time to read every thread. It's not summer vacation for everyone, Becca.

Okay, I really need to go do some cell culturing. No summer vacation for me...

If my suspicions are confirmed while I'm gone, I'll be sad:( If they aren't, I'll find a way to prove them!!

Well then he should check every thread if he is a good moderator.
~becca

So... you're saying that he should run more than one forum (I may be wrong, but he does do another forum doesn't he? A broad ranged one?) and take care of all his snakes in a proper manner, AND have a life? Every thread doesn't need to be checked because some matters can be solved without closing a thread and banning people. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but until that time comes...

Personally I think they already have been. Considering lea's new understandable post. Well... to me anyway.

Why don't you send him a PM then? I'm sure he really needs a 16-year-old of your vast talents to tell him how to run this site. His user name is Rich Z. Good luck with that! :grin01:

P.S.: I know I'm a mean guy, but my REAL advice is that you should not PM Rich Z. He won't take kindly to your silliness. I'd hate to see you on his list so quickly. We're just getting acquainted. :roflmao:

Besides... where are the parents that are letting this happen to an animal? Why would any parent buy an animal without first researching it's needs so their children don't make a mess of it? I know parents can't monitor everything their children do... but still. You'd figure they knew about the snake, seeing as the mice have to kept in the freezer, unless we've seen a clear representation of their shining brilliance in this thread. I would at least hope they still live at home. :sidestep:

I'll bet that's why Lea's snake won't feed. It's gone off its crickets.

Now, I'm by no means being rude to the two girls, and I oughtn't get involved in things like this lol, but I have to say, this is silly beyond belief. I feel like I'm looking at a "My First Cornsnake - age 3+" thread. :grin01:

Becca and Lea - well done at least for asking the questions. Though you should have researched in the first place, at least you've got enough respect for your animals to ask for advice. Now, please, listen to the advice you are given. If people are being harsh, they only want to care for your snakes. Listen to the experienced snake owners here, leave out the attitude and have an open mind to learning, and your snakes will flourish. Please understand that having a living creature in your care is a privelege, NOT a right.

Advice should be given for their new snake, as it didn't help for the old one. I'm not going to hand out advice when I don't know very much myself. But there are many FAQs threads in this forum, and they will most likely give you an answer to most of your questions. Just read through them, and if you still have an unanswered question ask it. Please don't handle the new snake or try to feed it for at least 5 days. Give it time to settle in and become familiar with it's surroundings. If it doesn't eat, give it two or three days before trying again. Maybe I'm wrong, and someone can correct me. If you know more than your sister, then maybe it should be your snake and not hers. Tell her if she's doing something wrong, and if any behaviors detrimental to the snake's health are not corrected and continue, the snake will most likely die and would need to be given a new home before it reached that point. Don't just get on a forum and point fingers. This is also a forum, not a chat room. There is no need to type to fast, and if your sister needs to take her time typing something so it will be readable, then she can do that.

I personally would wait more than 2 days between each feeding. Too many attempts can just stress the snake.

I agree. I use 72 hours as a minimum, but usually I give them at least four full days. This doesn't leave a lot of handling time for hatchlings, but I see that as a good thing. They are very susceptible to stress at this age, so minimal handling seems sensible.

I have a question, in another thread and this you (becca=lea) talk about the snake being stuck or burned. In that thread the UTH is in the tank, not under it??? I thought they were called UTH because they go under, but if you put it inside, since it has one sticky side the snake could getstuck and or burned. I have read this thread several times and yet to understand what you are getting at in the most part
Well i returned the snake that didnt snake and in other words you are right i get mixed
.
:-offtopic Cudo's Dean and all of you for trying. It is so nice when coherent sentence with even semi-good grammar is used. Maybe I'm just old and cranky but some of these posts are so difficult.
