Hematite: Ghost lavender (?) progression.

This little girl still needs a name. I'd like something in keeping with the gray-ish mineral names that I gave Galena and Bismuth, but I'm currently stumped.

I'm pretty certain she's an exceptionally light colored hypo-anery-lavender. She's see-through and there are no hemipenes in that tail. She is also 66% p/h charcoal.

I really wish I'd gotten some just-hatched pictures of this girl.

All photos are post 2nd shed.

Wow, that poor snake needs to come here until we know what it is for sure lol

Your generosity knows no bounds, however I fear she is far too hideous to inflict upon anyone else's household so she will remain here with me, uglifying everything.

<_<

Yeah, I figured you would take the selfless strong route on that. lol Is a great looking baby. Big congrats.

Hematite also shed this last week. She's definitely as pretty as her sister now, though far less cooperative for the camera.

I do believe she is blowing a raspberry at me in this one! :nope:

Hematite may be starting to edge out Galena as 'prettiest gray snake', especially as she is *finally* starting to turn gray and not weird shades of see-through pink. That said, she's STILL got lots of weird shades of see-through pink, especially in bright light.

It's been almost a whole year and it's overcast again so... Hematite pictures! We spent a few months battling regurges but she's over that now and taking fuzzies again with ease. She's gotten crazy light and will be a stunning adult.

Pretty pretty Hematite with eyes of silvered merlot. I wonder if she'll lose the silver flecking entirely.

Mesmerizing!

BTW, did ya ever come up with a name? Unless I missed something (admittedly, my eyes are like two pissholes in the snow! First cup of coffee and it's almost 6:30am - YIKES!!!)

Her name is right there in the post title. This is Hematite. :p

To everyone, thank you so much for the compliments on her!
