Then he shed and now he is 4ft.
Now I told his recent owner and they said he hasn't shed in years and is to old to be shedding. Im very confused.
She says he is 12 years old. Im not sure that's 100% right

Any suggestions ??

There's yellow does his side. Idk what kind of corn snake he is.

Well, the previous owner clearly had no idea what she was talking about. Corn snakes shed for their whole lives, they just slow down as adults. My adult males shed about 3 times a year.

Morph-wise, he is an anery and it's entirely possible for him to be 12 years old.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the length of a shed skin is not an accurate way to measure the length of the snake. The shed skin stretches as it is pulled off the body. And just like Megan said, a corn snake will keep shedding as an adult.
