Well my first snake from the pet store passed away a few weeks ago.

Not too long after she passed I found another snake that seemed to be in better condition. He's bigger and seems to be doing really well. I've had him for 2 weeks and he's eaten 2 meals with me without ANY issues His name is Henry.

It was a rough lesson, but I did learn a lot going through the first loss.

I had a better idea of what I was looking for when I got Henry and I believe I got a healthier snake from a healthier source.

It was cold this morning and I found him all snuggled up. He's so cute

Henry just had his first shed with me. He's looking very handsome. I got a new camera as well so I had a chance to practice a bit. He was pretty squirmy though.

I'm so sorry you went through that. Henry is very handsome. Nice photos. He also looks very inquisitive. I'm still in week one with my babies so I am not touching them yet. It has really been hard not to get them out.

She lasted close to 4 weeks before passing away.

That's unfortunate. I just got one from Petco, so I hope he lasts a while. He seems pretty healthy. Next time I get a snake, it will be from a breeder.

Henry is a year old! Ok I'm guessing, but still.

The white in his saddles is coming out more and more with each shed. I call him half Reverse okeetee since his broad white saddles start about half way down. I also weighed him today and he's over twice the size of when I got him.
