Her first whole pinky

Crazy Tarantula Lady
My little girl took her first whole pink today :crazy02: its the first decend meal she's had since she hatched. All it took was a TINY piece of anole skin on the pinks nose.

Sorry for the pictures quality, I didn't want to open the blinds and disturb her.

Now I need a name, my other opals are oppeur (male) and pearl.

Congratulations! Wow, she's a tiny thing! I wonder if bearded dragon skin is good for anything- mine's peeling!

I wondered if dragon skin would work too. Maybe next feeding day I should try rubbing the pink on my dragon, give her more reason not to like me LOL.

I don't like the name snopal much but I like pearl even less. With snopal at least you can figure out what genes are involved.

Maybe. Snopal did nothing for me when I first heard it, since I had no idea what an opal even was.

Once mine start breeding I'll be listing them as: Pearls (triple homozygous - amel/anery/lavender). :grin01:

The problem with the name pearl is most people recognise it as a corn/texas rat cross.
