I was still hoping for just a little snow this winter since we haven't had any yet so far...But it just so happens that it is going to snow quite a bit today and tonight. They are calling for 15-18 inches with winds around 30 and gusts around 50 mph....I guess I will be doing some shoveling today...I will take some pics later when it really starts snowing....... :awcrap:

Good luck howie, we only got about 3 inches the other day, but it was nice to see. You, on the other hand are in for it my friend! We're supposed to get freezing rain and sleet today, a wonderful addition to the snow that's on the ground. Looking forward to those pics, and keep warm!!!!

Thanks! Here is a pic from about 5 mins ago: It is just starting to snow here now...It should get interesting here in a little bit. :)

Wow, that's a big change from the first pic! How are you guys getting these pics so big? When I try that it says the file is too large. I've gotten it up to a 5 x 7 at 56 pixels per inch, but that's it.
Looks like you're not going anywhere for a while howie! LOL

Tell me about the big change! I just got done shoveling a little and they say we have close to 7 inches...We are about half way there. I will post another pic around 6...:(

Howie, I don't know where Newtown is, but up here in Erie we've been getting hammered since before Christmas. That original picture you put up doesn't look too bad considering we haven't seen grass in quite awhile :bird: . With the amount you had down your way this morning I could've still been out metal detecting and I wouldn't have to be inside reading about everybody else's snakes...lol.

WOW! The picture is awesome! What is that a pic of?? Newtown is a suburb of Philadelphia about 25 miles north...

Well, it's nothing all that impressive actually...lol. It's an outdoor elevator shaft/stair tower with one of our dorms in the background. Or, to be more specific, it's the view from my room at Penn State.

Graduation is May 14th and I, for one, can't wait to never see that view from my window again. :blowhead:

Wow! Don't hate me for saying this but I love snow. I know I know, it causes all sorts of problems but it's always dirty and sludgy here in England, you guys have all this crisp bright white fresh pretty snow all ready to run through and throw at each other :)
(Runs away before she gets a beating.)
