Been lurking for a while, and I figured I'd introduce myself. I've got two corns right now. One's very nice and friendly- he does snake programs for children along with being a pet. The other one is very much a jerk, and spends most of his time glaring at me. He's a seething little ball of hate.

They're both adults. Cornelius, aka the nice guy, is 10, and Thor is around 7-8. Thor's former owners didn't know his exact age. I'm hoping with enough handling and TLC that he'll come around, but if not, I'll just consider myself lucky that he's got little teeth and can't take a finger off or something. :dgrin:

These snakes are addictive and absolutely wonderful to have around.

Hi :wavey: Your snakes sound really cool. Especially Cornelius doing snake shows for kids. That's awesome. Your description of Thor made me laugh  They are wonderfully addictive aren't they?! :)

Welcome! :D I love your description of Thor! He sounds like quite a character. My Rosy Rat (Keys Corn), Ember, used to be on display at the Santa Fe Children's museum. The docents would handle him so the children could see him and hold him. They decided to replace him though because when the docents were not there (which was the majority of the time), he would not come out of his hides - EVER! And I believe that, because he never comes out of his hides for me, either. But when I pull him out, he's just a super sweetheart! Both my daughters have corns, too. We've only had them for a little over 3 months. Hope Thor comes around for you!
