Hey!
My name is Ryan, Im 14, and I have recently got into snakes! I have a juvenile Anery presumed Female Cornsnake! Ive had "her" for about 3 months and "she" is almost exactly 2 feet long! The thickest part of her body is about the size of a nickel, and she is in a 10g encloser. Ive been told that she should be good in there until she is upgraded to adult mice. At that point, she will be upgraded to a 40g. She eats furries once a week ,and I assume I should upgrade her soon! I should be around here often!
Thanks

Welcome Ryan! You know your post is useless without a pic ...
Just kidding! Congrats on your little one (which is larger than my little one) ... you'll find a lot of info here. In your spare time go through here and do some reading. And yes, we do love pics! :D

Hi and congrats on your snake!! Does she have a name yet? (sometimes people can guess the gender based on the length of the tail, but I don't know how accurate that is.. If you really want to know - your vet can check her or maybe an experienced snake breeder in the area might check for you.

But what's really important is that you enjoy having her/him!
And Beware! Corns are habit forming!

You'll find all sorts of great info in the forums (try some searches just for fun) and tons of pictures..

(and Kdickens is kinda right - we like seeing pics)

Hi Ryan and welcome! Your snake sounds wonderful.

Your enclosure plans sound good. 40 gal is a wonderful size for an adult corn snake.

If you need help posting pictures, let us know!
