Hello everyone,

My name is Josh I'm not new to herp's but I'm new to actually being in charge of my own. I've had turtles for about 4 months and now me and my wife are looking into dabbling in snakes.

We are choosing a Corn Snake for our first (obviously lol) and have been doing research for the last couple weeks and thought it was about time I join the community =)

I plan to build my own cages. I've found some decent plans on the internet (not much out their, mostly racks) and have modified them a little to suit my needs.

Well anyways, you see me other places with lots of questions!! =)

- Josh

Hi Josh :wavey: Welcome to the forum!

If you have any questions or any experiences to share, this is the place to do it!

@Maize411 - Aye I do not plan to use those woods to build or as substrate... I will be building it out of a plywood/particle board preferably one that's pre-coated with a plastic material such as melamine coated boards or MDF depending on what I have available.
