Hides too light?

I got a couple of those tortilla keepers from the dollar store and they are the perfect size for Penny. That is, when I turn them over and set her in them they look perfect, a little snug but with plenty of room to move getting in and out. So I melted a hole and set it in her tub. When she tries to go under it, it's so light that she moves it and lifts it and the whole thing seems pretty ineffective. Does this mean it's too small? I thought they liked them pretty tight fitting? I'll post a pic from my phone of what she looked like sitting in it, before I melted the hole.

Maybe attach some rocks to it to weigh it down and give a natural look. Otherwise that looks like a good size.

I had styrofoam hides for a long time. I don't think the snakes realize they were not hidden very well.

She decided the newspaper on the bottom was a better hide anyway, haha. Oh well. I'll leave it in anyway. That way when she gets her viv she will be used to it and have something familiar.
