Honduran milksnake

DaemoNox

Abyssus abyssum invocat
I've been focusing so much on corns right now I've almost forgot how much I love this species. This is Nevesti, one of these days I'll find a mate for him.

Awesome looking snake, almost got one, but opted for a corn instead. I'm sure it will be my third snake :) ....damn already started a list, think I've been assimilated...

He's gorgeous overall, but that's got to be the prettiest snake belly I've ever seen. Is that morph normal/wild-type for them? I love it. I like the tangerine hondos too. If I ever get a pair, I'd like a tangerine, and one that looks like yours, but is het for tangerine. :)

Wow, i haven't really seen much of any milksnakes but that one is reallly nice and i love the colors.
How big is it?

Beautiful DaemoNox! I love the Hondurans also- beautiful, impressive snakes with wonderful temperaments.

I keep a gorgeous male Tangerine, but he's opaque right now. Perhaps I'll post some shots in the future.

Kind Regards,
Brian

Great looking hondo - good size on that guy - lots of tipping too. We have one female that is almost black, she has so much black tipping on her scales. Great species to work with - such variety and so impressive when they get to adult size,

Thanks! He is a tangerine, a regular tri-color hondo is more has more of a yellowish apricot color instead of the orange (a lot more contrasting with the red). I'm not sure how tangerines work geneticly, I dont think its simple recessive though. A lot of breeders find the black tipping to be undesirable and try to breed it out, but I like it. He is about 4.5 feet long. My next honduran will probably be an anerythristic, which are amazing.

I really enjoy the black tipping on this animal, he looks absolutley magnificant. He looks to me as though he'swearing some kind of light armor, yet you can see what's undernieth. The color seems to be poking out from undernieth, almost in a screaming to be let out way.

wow very nice...great colors...its kind of hard to see its eyes because of the coloring hehe
