how big does......

A 55 gallon would probably be nice for them. I know someone who used to house 2 in a 30 something gallon tank with no problems, but the snakes got a little fat and the guy decided to get them a bigger tank with more climbing branches and things.

A 45 would be fine but I usually dont house 2 corns at the same time... I have a 40Gal breeder which I mate my corns in... probably only because its called a breeder tank... but there seems to be plenty of room for them in there!

most people here don't house two corns together. If you really wanted to I say the bigger the tank the better. 55 should give them plenty of room.

I was thinking about housing 2 corns together and boy did I get a bunch of responses about it.

here's a couple reasons not to according to the replies I got.

first, there's always a chance of canibalism no matter how small it is.

second, your two corns will spend much more time in hiding

and lastly, apparently it can cause feeding problems.

two 25 gallon aquariums would be pretty descent anyways, I'd just assume keep them separate. One person told me that they had their 2 corns together and when she separated them, there was a huge difference in feeding and in cage behavior.

I hope this helps,

Rainey

play it by ear

Some house theier snakes together some don't, I would put them together and supervise them, and take them apart at night, try this a few times and if all is working well, let them spend the night together, I house mine together but they are just babies, I am thinking if they'll be together since pracitcally birth then it should be just fine,

If you are getting each of your corns from separate sources, be sure to quarantine them from each other for at least 3 months so they won't get any diseases or parasites from each other.
