How often do i clean my tank?

I have a 70 gallon tank that houses one baby corn snake. I use mulch that i got from the pet store as bedding. I clean the water bowl 1-2 times a week. But how often do i change the bedding. I never see any poop on the bedding, and i never see it in the water bowl. Im really not sure where he poops. When he sheds, he sheds as a whole, so i get the whole snake skin at one time. I always remove that when i see it. But besides changing the bedding, is there anything else i would need to do to clean the tank?
If so, i would appreciate any comments or concerns.

Another reason why cages too big aren't nice.

Since your tank is so big I'm not sure how you'll go about doing this, but you should bleach your tank once in a while (I do it every time the snake poops, but for bigger cages like my 40 gals I do it twice a year). I take the tank out to my backyard, hose it down, and fill it up with water and put some bleach in to it. I let it sit there for a couple hours and drain the thing using the drain (mine's got like a faucet type thing on one end which I plug up with a rubber cork when the snake is in the tank).

Hope that helps.

WOW! I bet that corn is comfortable in his mansion. I would advise lifting up alot of the substrate and checking to see where he poops. It is best to get poop out ASAP

I heard that if you have big cages like that for a small snake they can get stressed and not do so good. I recomend and 10 - 15 gallon tank for a baby corn! 70's WAY to big IMHO

That is a really big tank for a baby corn. And he can get stressed out in such a big tank. I would switch to a smaller cage but if you still use the bigger tank give it lots and lots of hides to it feels safe.
