10- 12 inches.... probably closer to 10... got any pics?

This girl is smack-on 2 months and has eaten 7 times. Is yours about the same?

I am no expert by any means, but 10-12 inches at 2 months seems a bit small to me. My 2 month old corn is 16 1/2 inches in length. Not quite as big around as a dime. Jake was 10 1/2 inches when I got him as a hatchling. Just my 2 cents worth. :shrugs:

I have to agree with Dminor9. Our guy is not EVEN 2 months, and about 14/15 inches.

My Corn Snake, Sal, is two weeks old and she is absolutely tiny. She's had two feeds, and I was wondering if feeding them too much is unhealthy? And how long would it take for her to grow into an adult size?

Sorry if all of this is wrong... like I've posted in the wrong place or have asked something somebody else has already asked, but I'm brand new here... so can you forgive me? *puppy dog eyes*

Each snake has their own pace. Some grow like weeds and others will still be the size of a 3 month old after a year of careful feeding and love...you just can't make 'em grow.

I've heard some stories of snakes that put on 5 grams in a year even on reglar feeds and then you have others like my snow who is at 330g at about 15 months of age.

Great thanks. Helpful... very helpful. By the way, I'm not trying to make her grow... that's just weird, lol.

Thanks!

I only feed Jake every Thursday. The store I get my pinkies from gets their supplies of feeders every Thursday. So that is meal day for Jake. This past week he was given a samll fuzzy because the pinkies were all too small. One of the store owners said the small fuzzy would be fine and it was. I thought it might be a little too big, but no regurge and Jkae looks fine today. No power feeding here. Like it was said earlier in this thread, all living creatures grow at their own rate.

We were told to feed our Sal every four to five days, and she's only had two feeds so far in her two-week life. We've just given her her third, but she hasn't eaten it yet... probably tonight, seeing they're most active during the night.

is it ok if the pet store I usually get my feeders from doesn't have pinkies (my okeetee eats two pinkies) to get him a just born rat baby???

No. Rat pups are MUCH bigger than pinkies.
