The Bairdi kids are starting to change and their color is peeking through. Love those guys, can't wait to see pics of them as adults!

Great photos and beautiful snakes. I've got to get a Bairdi pair one of these days. The pattern on that bloodred is very cool. It's one of those rare cases, for me anyway, where weak diffusion as an adult would not be terribly disappointing.
 
Thanks! I do love her pattern too, but if she ends up like her parents there wont even be a trace of it left (which I wouldnt complain about either). I love bairdi's, even before my pair were a year old I got myself another pair; they are just so pretty, and its fun to watch them change.
 
What the heck is a Bairdi anyway? I'm assuming the gorgeous grey snakes at the end of the photos is what we are talking about... Are they a type of corn or another type of rat?

Those last pictures are of bairdi ratsnakes, which are a type of rat. Those are just yearlings though, I believe there are pictures of adults in the general section.
 
Paimon, the snow has a wicked head pattern!! Perfect rendering of a 'skull', complete with a menacing sneer! Very NICE animals.
 
Holy Crap! I can't believe I missed that skull the first time I saw the pic! That is so perfect and clear of a picture it's FREAKY!!!

What is this snakes name? Tell me it has something to do with that AMAZING head pattern!

I actually didnt notice it for awhile either. His name is Paimon; who is a great demon king who is the most obedient unto lucifer.
