Hypo Whiteout stripe????

zorro

Old Guy
This guy/girl just hatched and is from a pair of Hypo Bloods het stripe, charcoal and amel. I didn't know they were het amel until I started seeing fires and fire stripes. We will see after he sheds if it is striped or not or maybe never be able to tell until it is big enough to breed.
I also included a pic of the clutchmates.
Thanks for looking
John

Good lord that hypo blood stripe is amazing!!

And good luck telling if it's a stripe or not. On all of my caramel whiteouts, I could never tell any difference between the blizzards or whiteouts. Even after sheds, in various lighting, etc. I only ever felt confident once I had homozygous parents.

I *think* I can see saddle marks on the neck in a couple places, so I don't think it's a stripe.

Last year a german breeder had the same problem. She said she could see the pattern after shed when the snake was wet. I don't know if it works, but it seems as if you can see the pattern better when the snake is wet. Maybe it helps :)

Thanks, I'll try it, I was going to take a pic at full resulution of my camera and photo shop it to try to bring out any pattern.
