I, Jennifer Robin ***** (name censored to protect the stalkable), am completely addicted to snakes. I accept there's a higher power (my bank balance) and am willing to surrender my will to this power. :grin01:

So I was at the petstore today for absolutely no reason. In my case, walking into ANY petstore without a specific shopping list is a very bad move. This is my new kingsnake. I figured I had most of the stuff that I would need for another snake... and yeah. I haven't gotten him/her sexed yet, nor do I have a name, but suggestions are welcome.

Btw... this guy/girl is absolutely tiny. I have small hands, and this one looks miniscule next to my fingers.

I know impulse buys are bad... but I asked to take a look, and fell in love. I actually walked out of the store, stopped in the parking lot, then went back in to get the snake.

I don't think they have a 12-Step program for snake addiction...then again...I don't think I WANT one ;).

Even my daughter today...I was looking at various pictures online, here and at some other sites, of different snakes. She walked up behind me(bear in mind that she is not quite 3 yet), tapped me on the shoulder and said, "You buying more new snakes, daddy?" I had to laugh...

She's not even waiting the required "couple of years". She knows she has daddy wrapped around her little finger...and, quite frankly, it is as it should be ;).
 
cute little cali...kinda reminds me of mine except mine's an albino.

I got the snake thing bad too, tomorrow(friday the 13th!) i'm getting my new snake...who is a male 2006 prairie king snake het for albino his name is Zaylem(different version of Salem)...I'm picking him up after having John(the breeder) holding him for me for almost 2 and a half weeks(didn't have the money to get him till now)...i'm picking him up while getting f/t pinkies for my little snakes and some live adult mice for my 2 big snakes....right under my dads nose...he'll never notice cause all he says is "a snake is a snake" so he wont notice when i bring Zaylem home.
 
I know this is ridicuously off-topic, but I didn't even realize tomorrow was Friday the 13th until now. I gotta wear my lucky socks, or something. :sidestep:
 
My roommate gets home, sees the small viv filled with aspen, and groans. After some prodding, she did admit to liking the new addition. :)

Nope! I was out on Prospect by the Petsmart.

I actually haven't been to Sailfin in a while. Their mouse sizes have been too variable recently, so I've been having trouble getting good mice.

Thanks Nanci! I had to do a search to look and remember what Choco looks like. :) Very similar to Choco.

This little guy/girl is a very curious personality. The vivs are next to my computer desk, and I keep seeing stealthy movements under the aspen. Also, every once in awhile I'll see a little head poke out, look around for a couple seconds, and then go back under. Burrowing = good times. :D

You will not find one here! Congrats Jenn, on the awesome pick up... three weeks ago I came home from Petsmart with a new fire skink. I feel your pain as well.
