I have narcotics!

It's a shame I had to get Shingles to get them. :grin01:
If I've been grumpy lately, it's because my eye and scalp have been telling me they're on fire. I told them no they're not, but that didn't work for some reason.

As soon as my daughter gets home I intend to take a nice, long, drug induced nap. Ahhh sleep.

Man, what a bad-news day here. Well, enjoy your narcotics and I hope everything is fine in less than the 3-5 days that Wikipedia says it generally lasts.

Man I wish the doctor was wrong and Wikipedia was right. It'll be 3-5 weeks.
Thanks for the well wishes.

I took some pictures of it to email to my mom.
Thought I'd post them here too.
You can't see the blisters in the pics, but everywhere there is redness there are blisters.
It doesn't look like much but man does it hurt!
Well, it's not hurting right now. :grin01:

OK, don't make me post photos of the hematomas on my belly.

Get well soon, Mary Beth!

And remember, you can only boast of the legal possession of narcotics only if you've brought enough to share with the rest of the class.

regards,
jazz

I'm not gonna share my drugs though. The bill at the pharmacy was the most painful thing I endured today. :bang:

Oh, boy! Comparing battle scars. :grin01:

Husband suffered through shingles twice since we've been married. I can't say I know how they feel, but ... ouch. Get well soon! :wavey:

I just got off the phone with my sister and told her I'm on Vicodin and she explained to me why I'm not sleepy like the doctor said I would be.
Ahhhh so that's why I can't shut up! :grin01:

Alien snatchers!

My Granny had them, when they left so did her mind. :sidestep: Seriously now I hope you start feeling better soon!! :dancer:

Here's something everyone already knows but I'll tell you again -
Don't believe everything you read on line.

I found a website that lets you click on all your symptoms and it'll give you possibilities for what you might have. I clicked on all of my symptoms - Oh and I forgot to mention that I have bronchitis too - and it only gave me one possiblity....

plague

:roflmao:

I feel your pain - literally! I hope you get better soon. I had them my sophomore year of college and boy was it evil. I got them on my back and around my side and had to layer clothes for a week and then wear a bandana/layer for at least a week after that. And they caught mine early too. I still get twinges where they were sometimes - I can't imagine having it by my eye! No wonder the doctor gave you fun drugs...then again I got fun drugs with mine too :grin01: Until the blisters open up some of the arthritis creams (I think I used something starting with a z) are great because they dull it so much you can't tell - then again I wouldn't want to use that on my eye. Good luck!
