I love New Jersey!!!.... rant

I couldn't live in Jersey either. This thread reminds me of an e-mail my cousin sent me. I thought I'd share it.
.
California:

The Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail.

A coyote jumps out and attacks the Governor's dog, then bites the Governor.

1. The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie "Bambi" and then realizes he should stop because the coyote is only doing what is natural.

2. He calls animal control . Animal Control captures the coyote and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.

3. He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases.

4. The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound bandaged.

5. The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is now free of dangerous animals.

6. The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a "coyote awareness program" for residents of the area.

7. The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.

8. The Governor's security agent is fired for not stopping the attack. The State spends $150,000 to hire and train a new agent with additional special training re:
the nature of coyotes.

9. PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files a $5 million suit against the State.

Arizona :

The Governor of Arizona is jogging with her dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks her dog.

1. The Governor shoots the coyote with her State-issued pistol and keeps jogging. The Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.

2. The Buzzards eat the dead coyote.

And that, my friends, is why California is broke and Arizona is not.

I am waiting for the counter attack on that email. Someone posted this same thing in another thread and it ended up blowing up into an all out political battle...

I used to visit the Pine Barrens when I lived in Maryland, but that's about the size of it. Not a chance in hell I'll ever live there.

This what I am told. You can run around there all you want. But don't even think about keeping any snakes you find. Even if you only want to move them to a different place for photographs.

Oops my bad..
I have a ..""National saltwater Angler Registry""
Which stated on the back that states... ""Federal law require you to keep this card when fishing in designated water and to present to law enforcement officers upon request.""

To learn more ...www.countmyfish.noaa.gov.

My brother-in-law asks me to fill out registry to show support!
But he stated the Fed and the state want start a salt water license.
I don't really fish.

I'm not much of a fisher anymore since I started working at the nature center and raising all the fish lol but my grandparents had a house in West Wildwood and my cousin owns a houses in Grassy Sounds under the North Wildwood Bridge so I grew up fishing all the time and every once in awhile find time to go.

I think it needs to be regulated more because I've noticed a huge drop in the fish populations around here, not sure how they could do that but a fishing license just seems like a stupid idea.

Yea all or most of the reptiles there are threatened or endangered so they are pretty strict. I've only ever seen a fence lizard, skinks and a red eared slider there, no snakes.

We have too up here in Alaska, but its not the sport fisherman doing it. Its the Commercial fishing boats that are causing the impact way more then sport fisherman.

I know if we could raise more fish we would have so many more fish for the sport fishers.I love rants...

I have to get a fishing license to fish here in NM, Also they are required in Colorado. Most states that have fishing license's that are required send that money to conservation of fishing grounds in order for people to be able to fish in the future, and to keep people from over fishing.

You need a fishing license in Ontario as well (unless under the age of 13).

I kinda assumed everywhere had this though. :p
