I have a baby oketee corn snake and i was wondering if anyone knows information on what type of living plants you can put into the cage with the snake. I have heard that aloe plants can be used and are not harmful to the snakes but if you know any other types of plants please let me know. I also have a seond question about tank size, right now my corn lives in a 30 gallon aquarium but when it is full grown what size tank would i need for him. If you have any information regarding theese topics please reply.

Thanks !

I have a friend who runs a petshop, and he has different bromeliads in his tanks without any appearant negative effect to the snakes. I have no data, just observational, anecdotal evidence to offer.

Not much help, but there you go! :D

I tried a few in the early days. Sorry I can't remember what they were, but I do remember that they were all either climbed on and squashed or knocked over and squashed ! I quickly converted to the washable plastic ones - they're pretty good looking these days and porovide great ground cover for the more nervous individuals.

Cheers
Kel
