Corny Noob

Proud Momma
Between Connor (who's 7 months old on monday), the college courses, working part time on the weekends, and trying to relax sometime in between I haven't had much time for posting lately. I have however been constantly lurking :noevil:

It's weird I feel like and old hat now, I see how many new people are constantly joining the site and are going to have no idea who I am. Which is how I was when older members would post when I first started "I don't know who you are, but welcome back!"

I'm still trying to rehome my king snake, but all my critters are doing well, just recently all three of them shed perfectly and they're still eatting like pigs, I need some updated pictures of them.

But in the meanwhile how about some updated pictures of Connor, I had some professional pictures taken yesterday:

Welcome back! I had a feeling when I saw you post pictures on Facebook that we would be hearing from you soon...

Glad you hear you are doing well! Conner is growing up into quite the little man!!!

Why are you trying to re-home the king?

Living situation, as weird as I feel saying it, I really don't have the time space and attention for him. Which feels additionally stupid since snakes don't really require that much "attention".

Awwww he is such and adorable little tike! Glad to see you can come back and visit us some times. :)

If you need to give that king a good home PM me and we can talk. I could always keep him for you until you have more time and send him back. Just a thought.

He's getting cuter by the day!!!!!!!!!!!! I noticed you changed your avatar and was hoping for pics!

Good to see ya Jenn! I cannot believe how big Connor is getting already. They just grow up way too fast!

I have to post a picture of him with his snake toy.
I actually got it using pampers diaper points  it's a wooden toy that shifts in segments and he loves playing with it.

And thank you for the compliments everyone, I tell him every day how cute he is and how much I love him, I'm so mushy.

It's ok to be mushy. Mushy mommies are the best! :)

Well... to a point, then you get to be like my mom who is mushy when you are in 12th grade and embarrasses you by baking your bus driver rhubarb pie and waiting with you at the bus stop every day because she's afraid someone is going to kidnap you... even though she can see you at the bus stop from your house...

But I think at this point, mushiness is perfectly fine!!!!

Connor is an absolute doll! I just LOVE those little socks he's wearing! I had hardwood floors when my kids were that age, and those socks were a god send. Sometimes I wish they made them for big kids since mine still manage to crash into everything.

What courses are you taking, if you don't mind my asking?

Currently I'm taking Women's literature, world literature, and intro to anthropology.
I also just signed up for my last semester. Children's literature, NJ History, and Physical Geography (whch is really more of a geolgy class). And in case you're wondering about my major, I'm Gen. Studies in the Humantities, heh.

And you know Lori, you're right I don't see those kind of socks for older kids for outside the house use. However that being said I see around the house kinda slipper socks all the time with little pads on them.
