I'm late to the party

Finally got a couple of clutches! I thought these two would never lay.

Circe (ghost stripe X motley) was bred to Apollo, ghost stripe. He had a dissapointing year last year, so I'm glad to see some nice eggs this time though there's a few slugs. She looks like there's still a few more to go.

Hera (anery motley het hypo) was bred to Prometheus, a ghost motley. She's het stripe, I'm hoping he is too. She went off her food rather soon after becoming gravid so I will have to fatten her up after this. All her eggs look good though!

Why is it the late kids to the party always end up being the cool ones?!? lol

Very, very nice! I'm getting more and more addicted to ghost stripes and mots as time goes by. Good thing is that I have lots of keepers to be working with in a few years!

Can't wait to see pics of the babies that come!

Well, Circe got done finally, I am relieved as it took her a bit longer than usual. I just took a few pics of her eggs.. One egg is tiny, but it looks good, I had a few like this last year and they hatched with very small snakes inside, a couple of these runts did live and were found homes. I'd much rather hatch a big snake than one I have to cut pinky heads for, but I will still incubate this little one.
Other pic is the three slugs she layed. In total her clutch was 13, of which there were 3 slugs and one small egg, the rest are huge! I am so happy my ghost stripe male is not infertile this year, last year every female I put him with had a couple of good eggs and the rest slugs - which is why he had only one pairing this year!

Yeah lol I might have something to sell in late August at this rate  That's OK, the show in July I usually sell at is cancelled, so no pressure ;) It's funny others are posting pippies already and I just got eggs...

I have a show to do the 15th of June and I think only the one clutch will be hatched by then. But that's not even guarantee they will be ready to sell by then. Next show is in August though, so the others should be well started by then. I hope.

My girl still hasn't laid her eggs yet. No worries. I am starting to think she is just fat, not gravid! lol. Oh well...even if she is just a "big woman", I love her to death.
