I've never had a food allergy in my life. However...
Eggs tend to make me well acquainted with the loo, but only if they're scrambled or not cooked completely (over easy is my fav). Hardboiled doesn't bother me, egg drop soup doesn't bother me, deviled eggs don't (or didn't). And usually if I eat eggs and I get the runs, it goes away after the first instance. Which for me, isn't bad enough to keep me from eating them. lol
Although, the day before I got fully sick, I ate 3-4 deviled eggs that I'd made a couple of days previous. Later that night I had a twinge of nausea at Applebee's, like 2-3 hrs later. Then the next day I'm sick as a dog.
Pork fat has been giving me increasing problems lately. Bacon, sausage, pork loin, other moist/fatty meats don't agree with me. But again, I don't eat them enough to warrant seeing a doctor about it. Ham doesn't bother me, oddly enough.
Milk makes me slighly bloated feeling, and if its milk gravy (or any sort of cooked milk) I might have an issue. But I still drink it and eat dairy products regardless. =P
I sure hope I'm not allergic to coffee. Before I got sick at the beginning of January, I was drinking it like a fish. Then, on the way home from Indy we stopped past Starbucks and about 30 miles later I got sick. I haven't had the courage to touch it since.
Its worth exploring I suppose if the GE doesn't have any ideas or input about it. My mother is allergic to everything but animals.
