hi my corn in burrowing under the substrate!
i dont want to dig him out cus he can see me and i can see him i feel like heel get really jumpy if i go digging him out? or is that how most poepel go to picking them up?
ive only had him about a month he is 2-3 months old! eating fine and everything just i get a bit nervous ???

YOUR NERVOUS!!, how do you think he feels.
Yes but try not to freak him out. do it slowly.
 
I just move the substrate so that I can have a clear view of him and then pick him up quickly before he slithers away.
 
I often have to dig around in the substrate to locate a hidden corn. IMO it's fine to do this so long as you're careful not to frighten him.
 
I am a bit lucky with Ruby, when she feels movement she comes out of hiding to inspect. I do have to dig the others out. It doesn't really seem to bother them. It was a bit funny the last time, because my king snake kept moving and it took me a while to catch her. :sidestep: She is fast.
