Hi all,

So im fairly new at keeping corn snakes, after my last corn died a month or so ago (adopted him from my grandad when he died last year, snake was about 17 i believe) i looked into adopting another corn, i found someone on preloved who was selling two corns for £50 they are both females 'apparently' and have been living together for a year or so according to the original owners, the snakes are healthy and doing what they should i might add, but recently i noticed that above one of my snakes vents it bulges a fair bit compared to her room mate, now i cant feel any bumps, but her last shed was 3 weeks ago according to her previous owners, she has eaten since coming into my care but i am just a little concerned that they may have sexed them wrong and had a male and female together and now give me a pregnant female...... any opinions or ideas??

Based on the time since last shed, and that she's still eating... she's probably either overweight, or is about to have a massive poo.

If she's gravid (pregnant), you should be able to feel lumps in her lower half by letting her glide through your fingers and applying gentle pressure to her spine and belly with your thumb and index finger.

Just judging from the picture, that doesn't really look like eggs. It looks like she needs to poop.
