hey all its been awhile since i posted (i know..when did i EVER really post) lol but im just a little dissapointed in the herp community. since when did owning cornsnakes make you less cool? If corns are "beginner" snakes like ball pythons then why are they so underrated? Ive owned corns balls and boas in my short time in this hobby but so far my first and only corn has been my fav by FAR! shes not anything special to anyone but me, just a normal motley but her personality and characteristics make her addicting to care for! I want more snakes but im bored with my BP and i see him waaaay more than i ever see my secretive corn plus the fact that when i have him out i can be more free and loose with him. You would think that would strike me as a plus but no..he just seems a little TOO laid back if you know what i mean. Ive fallen in love with corns but whenever im around fellow herpers and i bring my precious corn up the convo dies and i look like a five year old at show and tell all excited for no reason. I just want to know if anyone else out there thinks that corns RULE. We need to stir up some more excitement in this species...i mean hogs and balls are cool but come on..nothing beats a corn in terms of simplicity and colors. Anyone wanna do a trade on a bp for a juvi male corn? lemme know!:)

LOL! I doubt you'll find anyone on here who thinks Corns are uncool! Stick around for some serious positive reinforcement ;)

All the snakes I have are "beginner" snakes. I like my Cornsnakes, Kings and Milks. I will be a "beginner" snake man until the day I die.

It's funny, I was talking to my friend's mum who owns a red tailed boa, and telling her about my corn snake. She said they sound like a lot of fun.
I think corn snakes are cooler than balls and boas because they have the perfect "snake" proportions. Little head, long body, not dangerously strong.
