Isis - Beautiful Snake Horrible Pictures

As much as I love snapping crappy pics of her, I figured I'd give her a thread in the proper section.

A bit of an introduction, Isis is a 3 or 4 year old female Red Tail Boa. She's a little over 4 feet now. I recently acquired her from a good friend who couldn't take her in a move. Since it was a sudden decision (I was hesitant but figured I was the better option over animal control), I'm in the process of getting her enclosure and living conditions up to my standards.

That would be amazing. The more I handle her the more I realize I love big snakes. I wasn't the biggest fan of the larger species when I first got into snakes, because they mostly just lay around all lazy like. But when she's out, she's a bundle of active curiosity and so much fun to handle and play with.

Side note, I was incredibly worried taking the standing pic. We have a ceiling fan in the room, and with my 6'6" and her ~4" it could have been a short curious stretch to a bonked head

Beautiful, and way to step up to the plate and take her in. There's no comparison to holding a big boa, they are their own thing altogether.

She's gorgeous!! I would probably turn the ceiling fan off in the future when you get her out. Merry-go-rounds are fun for people but Isis may feel differently

She had her first shed with me. Full and complete, something her previous owner never accomplished. Guess I'm doing something right!
