Thanks, everyone, for the congratulations and support!
The magazine came out yesterday. It is the May-June 2010 issue, which focuses on wildlife. The shot they published is the first Panamint rattler I posted earlier--
It is the opening photo for the Wildlife Gallery, and is prominently placed on the first half of the centerfold. However, they used the wrong caption, and have it incorrectly labled as a juvenile Panamint, when in fact, it is a gravid adult. But I am fairly certain that only a few people reading the magazine will know the difference...
I can't really blame them. I provided 2 Panamint shots, and one absolutely was a juvenile. They just got confused on which caption went with which photo. It aggravated me at first but...I guess it isn't that big of a deal...
That is so awesome Chris! I am so happy for you. You definately deserve some recognition for your amazing photography! I am sure this will be the first of many published photos for you!!
I'm a little late but I just wanted to add my congratulations as well. I hope this is just the start of bigger and better things for you Chris, you certainly deserve it!
