It's plasma het hypo?

It does look like a plasma. When you purchased it, did the breeder tell you what it was? Whether it is het hypo, can only be determined by breeding.

Pretty snake!

Wayne

He kind of looks like a Ghostblood to me, but I'm certainly no expert. His irises seem to be bluish, which a lot of Ghost-type morphs have. Does he have red pupils?

Here's a picture of my possibly Hypo Plasma. It's unsure at this point if he's homo or het for Hypo. He's much lighter in person than this picture suggests, though. But Wayne is right... best way to know is to pair him up with a known homo Hypo female. :}

i dunno it sort of looks like a lav to me, but hey just a guess =) it is hard to tell hets by looking at a snake. breed and you will know for sure! (like they said)

It could be either or....by looking at the photo I'd push to Ghostblood though.

As to finding out whether or not its het Hypo you definitely have to test breed. I've told my story in other threads before:

I had a Butter male that I bred to 3 females... an Amber het Amel, Hypo, and Normal het Hypo,Amel.

Amber Female produced: Ambers het Amel AND a few Butters

Hypo Female produced: all Hypos het Butter

Normal het Female produced: 1/2 Hypos, 1/2 Amels

Later tests showed that anything Hypo bred to this Butter produced at the bare minimum Hypo babies. After a few years of test breeding my conclusion after the Amber female clutch was that the Butter was really a Hypo Butter. All of those Butter babies were actually Hypo Butters and the Ambers we all het Amel. So yes test breed because you never know what you will find!

Oh yeah I forgot IF it is a Ghostblood you don't have to worry about it being het Hypo. Ghost=(Anery,Hypo) so it will be 100% Hypomelanistic!

I also think it does look like a Plasma (Lavender Bloodred, also known as, Lavender Diffused) It looks very similar to my boy Rio, who also has greyish iris's. As others have said though, only test breeding will tell for sure if it is het for Hypo :)

Very pretty snake!
