I've been here a year...

Old School Snakeman
I want to thank Kathy Love for turning me on to this site. In my snobbery of having snakes for twenty five years I thought I knew it all. But things changed in the 5/6 years I was out of the business. You folks have been great and patient in my re-education.
To Mike, Katie, Joe, Chris, Nanci and Greg, and I hope I didn't miss anyone from my area, it is good to know have shaken your hands. Paul, thanks for coming from Ohio to our field trip.
Dean, in a different reality I could have called you friend. :grin01:
Thanks for your words buddy.
So many to mention but off the top of my head-
MegF, Susan, DiamondLil, and I apologize to everybody else I missed. Here is to another year.

Ya know, I didn't know how little knowledge I had for caring for my snakes till I came here.
I'm not a breeder or expert by any means, but with all the wonderful people on this site I've learned a wealth of knowledge that I never could have learned anywhere else.

Here's to many more years for us all to expand our love and knowledge on our wonderful babies!

 That was beautiful.

I know what you mean, you think you know stuff but then wham :bang: . All this new info comes flyin at you. This was a very good idea to create a forum about this. :crazy02: Learn something every day.

(I've been here for a year and 18 days)

ok the 18 days was a wild guess.

Hurmf pumf...

I knew nothing about snakes almost a year ago but this forum has opened my eyes to the wonderful world of reptiles and their keepers :) It's been a pleasure being a member on this forum almost as long as yourself.

Heres to another great year on CS.com!

Awww, thanks Craig! I am glad to have met you as well! I never realized what a great community I was falling into when Joe pointed this website out to me. I really have enjoyed meeting everyone I have so far (and hopefully will meet more of you in the future) and learning everything I have from all the wonderful people here too!

Is that sand, I see?
It is also circa 1982. I was 16 and we didn't know any better. That snake is Sam, the first Corn I ever bought. And the largest I ever had, 52."
Tula I didn't forget you, I just couldn't remember your real name. :bang:

I'm sorry I forgot about that. I have had another name on here, but since every time I go on here it was logged in so i eventually forgot the password. Once I got the new computer it erased the memory of that so i had to create the new one. So I have been on here for one year, but just not with this "name" I've been here all year though

I appreciate all the knowledge I've gained here, but more than that, I love both the virtual family you all have become, and the friends I have gotten to meet in real life, thanks to you, Craig, organizing the trip to the Serpentarium. That was so cool.

Nanci

Here is a blast from last year...

How many do you know?

Dearest Craig,
I am perfectly okay with being forgotten about. No really, those are tears of joy streaming down my cheeks. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go lie to my diary.

*cries*

Trust me Glenda...
