Jackie Wilson Said....

The Rule Of Thirds.
....it was Reet Petite!

This sweet lil' charmer, just hatched on August 20th, arrived with two others this morning from Dean (Roy Munson). She's a Lav het hypo and blood, and the daughter of that superstar Lav Blood, Vlad.

I was going to honor Dean's tradition of mnemonic morph names (Valdosta? LaVerne?), but she's soooo tiny and adorable (yeah, I'm projecting here....she also revives my hypo lav blood project after losing Marguerite ;) ), and I was in a blue-eyed-soul kind of mood, that the Van Morrison (and by logical extension, the Jackie Wilson...) songs came to mind.

So.....meet Reet!

regards,
jazz

Yeah, it's kinda like taking custody of Nancy Sinatra.

I like the name too! What a cutie! I think at the end of the day I like just the lavs better than the anery lavs or the hypo lavs.

Thanks, everyone!

She's already moved the smallest pinky I could find from "one end to the other" - I never thought a 1.5 gram feeder could make such a lump! Apparently, she has Dad's appetite (Vlad's as well as mine.

), and I'm comfortable putting her on a 3-4 day regimen instead of the usual 5-6 days, at least until she grows a little more.

I'll try to put up some feeding photos next time, if she's willing.

jazz
