Jasmines goin the vet!

Carinata

Ever Evolving Exotics
Well she has'nt eaten in two weeks and has had some fecal issues. So I am gonna take her to Easten Exotic Vet center. Wish us luck

I collected some poo. The vet tech told me the stress from shipping may have started something

not eating for two weeks isnt that big of a deal. i'd wait longer than that to take an animal to the vet.

What's wrong with the poo that makes you think there is something serious going on, David?

I probably wouldn't be worrying enough for a visit after two weeks, but sometimes the cost of a vet visit is worth it in terms of peace of mind. I'm curious to see if such a young snake has parasites. Has she ever been fed live, David? But even if so, the mice she would have eaten would have still been nursing, hardly candidates to pass on parasites.

No she has not fed live, she pooped out some gnarly feces today. I want to be safe and spend the 70 bucks than wait and pay 700 bucks

I would think if it was just the poo looking different you could just take that in and have them test that first before spending 70 bucks for an office visit.
