The first pic actually looks quite bizarre, but the second one is great. Lovely snake!!:D.

LOL I do love it when they get loose... but very nice looking Amel... my Amel is a 2000 baby and hes only 38in looks like yours is growing faster then mine! :D

I have gotten really lucky for males. I have only two but one, the Amel is 36 inches like mentioned which is a nice size for the first year, but my other male....a snow born in May 2001 is really pushing it. I have fed him twice per week until one year old, and now every ten days...he is about 4042 inches somewhere in there, but HUGE guy.

I guess it depends on the genes as well as the diet in some cases! :)
