1. Anerythristic Bloodred (F2 generation) - From a Snow to a Kastanie Blood......This snake could also be a Anery Kastanie Blood. Hope to prove it this year or next.

2. Sunkissed - From Classic 100% het Kastanie Blood/Lavender, 50% Sunkissed x same. Could this be a red coat??? Oh well.. Only time will tell.

3. Fire (Het Kastanie, Anery) - From Avalanche Kastanie x Kastanie blood het amel.

Thanks for looking!

Great photos as always and some pretty amazing Kastanie stuff. That Fire is really something else though, WOW!

Thanks Terri!

That breeding produced some pretty nice-looking Fires. It was a breeding project between Colorado Corns and myself. The more they shed the more I agree with Steve Roylance that there could possibly be a Red Factor component when the Kastanie mutation is present. More Breeding trial should help answered some of this questions.

Take care!

That's actually an interesting and entirely reasonable theory...I don't think that it's come up in any of Steve and I's conversations (or maybe it has and I have forgotten, which is also entirely possible LOL) but it really does make sense. All of the snakes that I have that are Het Kastanie definitely have a completely different look than what we typically see in "normal" Classics and Amels and such.

Oh! She's a beauty too. Is that a recent photo of her?

I do love me them Kastanie critters!

Terri,
The picture was taken November of last year.

Here is another where the Kastanie mutation is in the mixed. You can appreciate the color saturation. All this are assumptions where the Red Factor "equations" comes into place.

A nice looking Amelanistic. She is a sibling to one of the Mandarins.

Take care!
