Keeping Corns and Kings together?

lumene

rebuilding my life
Before the cohab argument starts- what I mean is:

Can I bring my king snake's enclosure into the room with my corns?
Right now my king boy is being quarentined in my living room, far, far away from my established collection.

I have read that some people find no difference in attitude between animals provided certain rules are followed- and some find their corns more jitterey than usual. Your opinion and personal experience is valued!

I don't plan on moving him until at least Christmas (he's a rescue in awful condition, I haven't got tests back from the vet and I don't want to stress him if I don't have to).

Thanks All!

I have a stack of three vivs, with a King in the top one and Corns in the middle and bottom ones. No problems for any of them. The King is the most laid back fella you could hope to meet and the Corns are... well, Corny!

As long as your rescue's pest-free and had a lengthy quarantine, I don't forsee any problems for you.

I am with Bitsy. I don't see a problem either. I have a king at the top of my rack to and my corns could careless. And Smitty(my kings name) is not a laid back king. She is a busy skittish king.

You did not say what type of Kingsnake. If it is a Cal. King the Cals like to be out numbered 50 to one. Spendida Kings like to be at 10 to one.

Seriously, I have a corn and king on the same shelve and they do not even know each other are there.

Fatman

Hi All,

Fatman- Sorry, he's a California, he's a bit confusing though since he looks like a melted Hershey's Cookie's 'n Cream- not the typical black and white I usually see.

Bitsy- he's getting a Long quarentine! I don't know anything about him other than he was fed live mice once upon a time, and by the looks of it they tried to rip him to shreds.
