So true! Most people belong to that unfortunate group of people who have a negative, kneejerk reaction towards anything involving a snake! It's not like we, as humans or homo sapiens, still live in a generally uncivilized environment where the possession of Darwinian traits are directly proportional to our longevity or well-being! However, witness a typical reaction (as opposed to a response) to snakes from our fellow primates and you would think survival of the fittest is more important than just having some empathy for another living thing!

Just sayin'.
