I got my bloodred corn from SMR on the 4th and he's all settled in, he's eaten, pooped and I got over my nerves (he's my first snake ever) and held him and he was very calm after the initial flail fest and content to slither over my hands. He's SO CUTE. So I thought I'd use this thread to post pics as he grows (hopefully better ones as I learn how to both take pics and hold a snake that wants to explore).

He's a very calm, curious snake. I haven't even gotten a rattle or strike whilst picking him up.

Very long overdue update! I've had Kieren for a bit over two months now and he's fully settled in. He's a wonderful eater - anything at all could be going on around his deli cup and he's just chowing down - and very sweet. He's never struck and I've only gotten a little tail rattle out of him once when he was very hungry. And he's getting so big! He's at 17g up from about 14 when I first got him and he's shed twice. And I've also gotten (a little) better at mastering one handed snake photos because I'm too paranoid to let him slither on anything until he's a bit bigger and less likely to zoom away. Now for the pics!

Updating because today is Kieren's 1st hatchday!!! I can't believe he's already a year old. He's currently 48g (not sure on length) and is the sweetest snake.

More Kieren pics! He's now 116g and is such a sweetie, I can do anything and he's not phased in the least. He's currently in shed now but I took some pics a week or so ago.
