Thanks Nanci. He is a great first snake I think, not only is he good looking but he is very laidback. I have not had any problems with him and as long as the dog stays away we are fine. lol. He is not to touchy about any part of his body, I could not have asked for a better snake. I got real lucky.
 
Seems like a lot of babies like to get up in that little crack- people are always reporting that.

Mine used to do the "laps around the tank lip" thing all the time. My new snakes do it as well. I think it's a hatchling thing. :) Very pretty snake, congrats.
 
Nice snake. I changed the type of container I put my hatchlings in to avoid that lip of the tank behavior. :grin01:
