I just thought it'd be fun for me to make a progression thread for my snow corn, Lacey. I love the pink colors she has now, and while she will undoubtedly be pretty when she turns the expected yellow-and-white, it might be nice to look back on "baby pictures." :)
As of this post/ picture, she's been with me for nearly 2 whole months, so I'll guess 3 months old. This picture was taken after she shed! She is feisty. Sometimes when I hold her, she'll rattle her tail at me and/or try to slither away into the couch cushions. I will have to see, but I hope she gets calmer as she gets older!

She's adorable! Don't worry she will still look pretty when she gets older. As long as you handle her often she will stop being scared.
 
Her face just melts my heart. Shes beautiful! Confident and gentle handling will help her settle down. They change a lot on that score in the first six months as long as you handle them. Enjoy her. She's looking great!
 
Oh my goodness that is adorable! She is very cute, and that behavior is not too out of line for such a young snake. Just regular handling (but not too much) and she should settle down. Congrats :)
 
Greetings fellow dragon (sorry about what happened in Sunwell Plateau...it had to be done)! At least I'm assuming there's a G missing from your name. *ahem* Anyhoo...

Babies are sometimes a little flighty. A couple of my smaller juveniles are only beginning to calm down, though if I'm not super gentle they will still rattle their little tails and try to squirm away! It just takes time, patience, and a lot of handling for them to completely get over their fear of hands. There are a scant few that never do, but it's rare among corns! Looking forward to watching Lacey grow. :)
 
I've been feeding Lacey normal-sized (?) f/t pinks from the nearby chain pet store. She's a great eater! I feed her every 5 days or so. This last time, it hardly made a lump in her stomach! It'll be nice when she goes up to fuzzies, because aren't those better, nutrition wise?

Lacey is missing!

So I guess this is what I get for having a "homemade" lid for Lacey's tank... she has escaped!

Last weekend, I left town although her feeding was due on Saturday. When I returned, she wasn't in her tank! I set up a shoe box with a f/t pinkie inside as bait. No luck yet. I'll keep trying to find her.
 
Good luck on finding her. I hope she smells that pinkie and is on it. I feel for you. I had a manufactured lid, but of poor design and I lost one this time last year, so my heart is with you!
