Lavagirl is fixing to shed!

I was wondering why she has been hiding the last few days and is not exploring like she normally does at night. She ate four days ago just fine, no regurg or anything like that. Being a newbie, I had to know if she was okay, so I felt around in the aspen bedding and found her. She's getting that blue and her eyes are getting that cover, so I know she'll be shedding soon. Of course I promptly put her back and let her get back to hiding. I feel very lucky that things with her seem to be going well. She is okay with being handled (no biting or striking) and I've not had any feeding problems, she's pooing okay and this will be her second shed, which is right on target with about once a month. I can tell she's grown. Very cool.... :) There is absolutely no point to this post except that I'm happy about her. :wavey:

I know. What a bad snake mom, huh? After she sheds I am definitely going to take some pictures and post them. Personally I like the anery colors a lot, but Lavagirl has the best personality, so I would not trade her for anything. And of course I think she's just gorgeous.
