I've been in the process of moving and Lavagirl just finished a shed, so she didn't eat for a week. I was thawing out the pinkies in some plastic wrap on top of her viv and you could see her smelling that her supper was in the air. When I put the first pinkie in, she lunged out and snatched the pinkie right out of my fingers! Lightening fast. Wow! She's up to two pinkies each meal easily. I can tell she has grown. So exciting. Now I know what people mean when they talk about the snakes striking when they are hungry and smell a mouse.
