Go Ahead, Make My Day!
This photo was taken on the 26th...just a few days before he and several other of my younger snakes died due to a heating malfunction. I would have really liked to have seen his adult coloration, but I'll just have to live without that little pleasure. Anyway, Beth wanted to see what one of these looked like, so here you go! Not at all what I expected when I first opened the package from Rich, but special all the same.

Awwwww, Susan! He was a real looker then... Wish we could have seen him grow into his adult coloration.

Sorry for your losses.

I'm so sorry to hear about the heating malfunction! What a shame. He would have been an interesting one to watch.

What happened? Any advice on how to keep it from happening again?

Susan, thank you for posting this. He is lighter than I would have thought...but beautiful.
I am so sorry about him and the others....

Thanks everyone! Over the years, I've come to accept that this sort of thing happens and try not to let it get me down too much. As for what happened, I really haven't got a clue. We get thunderstorms daily and lots of power surges as well as power flickerings and outages that can last only a minute to several hours. It may be related to any of those.

I've been off line for a few days now so I'm out of the loop, but I am so sorry this has happened to you. :(

Wow....he was awesome....that photo just changed some of my breeding plans for next year! I'm really sorry about your losses, too. That's terrible....

Chris
