light

Didn't bother with my search suggestion, eh? :grin01:

Corns don't need bulbs of any kind. They are nocturnal. Heating should be accomplished with under-tank-heat mats.

I like to use an s-11 type 25 watt light bulb above the snake's tank to go over it's waterdish, to keep it warm, as well as to induce humidity in the tank, it's only on durring the day though, mostly to keep him on track, he's not kept upstairs

I would like to use some for of light.. Purely for a decorative effect at night.. and so that i can see in the tank when the room lights are dim..

My son has one of those Black Lights in his room
It gives off a purple glow type light..... Is this the type of light we are talking about ?

i got blacklights/uv/ultraviolet lights aswell, but they wont work for lighting up the tank..

they just light up anything white or flurescent, hehe

i read some ppl use a red light for night light for their tanks...

you could probly use a very low watt light for @ night, so its just a little dim, an just turn it off when u goto sleep.

?
