Lightning eggs!?!

Hello!

I´ve got a question...

My eggs have been in the incubator for about 57 days and when I lightning theme so are only 1/3 of the lower part in the egg dark...

I wondering if it´s normal or are my babies not ready yet...
How should it look inside the eggs when they are ready...?

I don´t remember how it was last year... :headbang:

The incubators temperature has also been a little choppy...

Thanks
Millan

I think this is normal. I candled my eggs a week before they hatched last year and didn't see anything but a small dark spot like you describe. They hatched a week later :)

I think that sounds about the same as my eggs that are at 60 days. I can't recall from last year how much of the egg the hatchlings took up, but I do remember candling them and being surprised that it wasn't even close to the whole thing even though it was near pipping time.

I don't think you should look inside the eggs (I mean, I don't think you should cut them to see inside). Your pippies will come out when they are ready, and then you will know that they are ready. :)

Hello again!

Thanks for your answer...

Now I feel a little more sure that the hatchlings are "okey"...

I was confused when I saw how mutch of the eggs that were dark..
The incubator have been realy choppy for me this year because the outdoor temprature has been goning up and down...
Sometime it have been so hot outside that I was forced to shut of the incubators heater...

Now I´m just wainting to see some noses cuting upp the eggs..

Can´t wait... *lol*
