Lil Spaz our kinked baby

Well Lil Spaz has a coned head and a kinked tail. For a while he had something that was prolapsed but it's corrected itself. He still has weird halty movement but he's a trooper. Today he did his first shed and I had to help him at the kink in his tail but other than that it was good. And he pooped on me :p we shall try feeding him a mouse head tomorrow. He's so tiny I hope he's as fierce as his siblings. Here's hoping for the little guy!

Thanks, he's got some issues. He doesn't move right in his back end, but I am going to have faith in him. He really wanted to be here. The egg he came out of was moldy and I thought was a dud!

Awww what a little trooper!
I had a paralyzed beardie before, although she wasn't born that way. Really was a personality though, she was so FEISTY!

I have heard from other people on here that a snake with one kink lower in the tail and do okay. They just need some extra help. I'm glad you aren't giving up.

I think there is something wrong with his lower 1/3. He doesn't move it right. I am afraid that it will cause him issues later down the road. But he's a little spaz. Can't give up on him. He's too feisty for that! :)

I have a kinked snake, Jasmine. She developed a lot of kinks after hatching. Her lower 1/4 to 1/3 isn't right- I would say partially paralyzed, but she eats and sheds fine. She can even swim, with a weird rolling motion in her rear half. I think she's five or six now. She's doing fine.

Thanks Nanci, you've been amazingly helpful and you give me hope each time I come to another hurdle! This forum is such a great thing! :) Especially when it comes to this little guy!

Attempting to feed Lil Spaz tonight. I had to take a pinkie and cut it head off and then in half to feed him, he's just that tiny. But so far it's a no go. He's not even showing an interest in the tiny offering. I hope it's just early in the game and he's waiting for an hour or two. :(

Yeah out of 7 I have 2 non feeders. It's the fact that Lil Spaz is one of them that is killing me. I left them quietly over night. No go. So I will have to go to some of the other tricks now. I am not concerned as much for the big guy, but a strong wind would blow away Lil Spaz and with all his other problems I was hoping feeding would be easy.

I had a little cone headed baby hatch out in June, also with a minor kink in her lower half. She shed just fine but also, is not eating on her own (mind you the whole clutch really isnt into the whole food thing, lol). She was also premature I believe, she hatched out tiny with very little colouring ! Good luck with Lil Spaz !

So the story is getting better. Lil Spaz ate half a mouse head the other day! And the bowels seems to be working too! The little one still has weird movements but hopefully as he gets older that will change.

My Omnom is a kinked baby...he has *at least* 7 kinks that I can feel down his body, the major one is in his neck...I posted a thread with some x-rays I took of him. Your baby is adorable and I hope he continues to do well ^-^ I have to help Omnom shed every time............which is roughly every time he eats...........
