Little dude shed but...

bataco

Daniel
When he turned blue I started spraying with water (it wasn't enough) so now his shed was in little pieces and still incomplete so... i should follow nanci's steps now?

Did his head shed? Check to see if you can find the eye caps. Check also that the tail tip came off.

Try soaking him in warmish water. Mid 80s is good. Let him soak for 5 - 10 minutes (you'll need a soaking tub with a lid, or you'll end up wrestling with him). Then take him out and with a damp washcloth, let him glide through your hands. Most of the shed will come off nicely for you.

yyeah I did that and the tail tip came off, i only saw one eye cap but i'm both are off now, for a cali 45%hum is ok?

That's ok for normal ambient air. But my cali really likes her humid hide. It's just a tupperware container with a hole cut in it and damp paper towels inside. She spends a lot of time in there, shedding or not.
