wow those pics are great. good close ups. i don't think its like funny or like "woah xxx" but that's really informative and just the amount of detail is awesome.

Thanks! I see it both ways. I'm amused by some of the comments, but personally I think it is fascinating. It's unusual that I get such a clear shot. An interesting look at something that is rarely seen. Albeit a little up close and personal.
 
Did you brumate them? I've been trying to decide on my pair whether I should stick them downstairs in the brumation closet for a month or not.
 
Yes, I stopped feeding in October, and had the heat off November and December. I woke them up on New Years Day, I'm kind of suprised to see them so urgent to breed so early. Some of my corns are breeding, but no one is really exhibiting that "constanly rub nose on the edge to get out" behavior like these two were. :shrugs:
